Map drops boost some Season 14 affixes
Some Season 14 affixes are more likely to roll on items that drop in high-level maps, by up to +50%. Pick where the item drops under “Item drops in” to include that boost in the odds.Loading item data…
Fetching bases and affix tables. How the odds are calculated
- Affix level (alvl) comes from the item level and the base's quality level: ilvl is capped at 99 and raised to qlvl; bases with a magic level add it, otherwise alvl = ilvl − ⌊qlvl/2⌋, or 2·ilvl − 99 near the top.
- The pool is every spawnable prefix or suffix that fits the item type and whose level range includes the alvl. Rare and crafted items only draw rare-flagged affixes.
- Single-affix odds are the affix's frequency divided by the pool's total frequency (bases with a magic level weight each affix by its level).
- Map boost: each affix weighs its frequency × 10. Season 14 map affixes (tiers 1–4) gain 10% × (tier + 1) on items dropped in a map, capped by the map's area level at +20% in area level 87 maps, +30% at 88, +40% at 89 and +50% at 90 and above. Outside maps nothing changes. Crafted items never get it, even when crafted in a map: the cube creates them outside any map room. Fuzzy mode applies the same boost to each combination that contains a boosted affix.
- Combined odds weigh every prefix/suffix split the item can roll: magic items get one or two affixes, rares 3–6 (jewels 4) and crafted items 1–4 on top of their recipe mods, never more than three of each. Ethereal adds a 1 in 20 roll, except for crafted items, which keep the base's ethereal state.
- Fuzzy mode counts every legal combination (one affix per group) and reports how many contain at least the minimum number of the affixes you listed in each section.
- LLD checks show the chance the remaining affixes also stay at required level 30 or below.
- Staffmods cover both automagic mods (from AutoMagic) and class-skill staffmods on class items, whose tiers depend on ilvl. Tick skills in either mode to combine them with the affix odds, or pick Normal on a staff, wand, orb or other class item to see the staffmod odds alone.
