The short version

  • Hiim PD2 is a free fan resource. It is not made or endorsed by Blizzard or the Project Diablo 2 team.
  • You own the builds, items and submissions you post. You let us show them on the site.
  • Submit only real, unedited clears. Vote honestly. Be decent to other players.
  • Moderators decide what is approved, hidden and how builds are tiered.
  • The site is provided as is. Tier lists and calculators can be wrong.
  • Florida law applies. Questions go to hiimpd2@gmail.com.

  1. Acceptance

    These terms apply to your use of hiimpd2.com ("Hiim PD2", "the site"). By using the site, you agree to them. By signing in, you also confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy.

    If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

  2. What Hiim PD2 is

    Hiim PD2 is a free fan resource for Project Diablo 2 players. It offers a build planner, tier lists, clear leaderboards, calculators, guides and related tools, with help from community moderators. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

  3. No affiliation

    Hiim PD2 is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment or the Project Diablo 2 team. Diablo, Diablo II and related names are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment. Project Diablo 2 and its content belong to its team. All game names, images and other assets belong to their owners.

  4. Accounts

    You need an account to save builds, vote, report or submit. You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

    Keep one account per person. Your display name must not pretend to be someone else or be offensive. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

  5. User content

    "User content" means builds, custom items, submissions (map clears, boss kills and builds), notes, names and anything else you post.

    You keep ownership of your user content. You give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive license to store, copy, display and adapt it as needed to run the site, for example to show a build in the gallery or a clear on a leaderboard. The license ends when you delete the content, except for approved clears, which stay on the tier lists and leaderboards without your name.

    Public builds appear in the build gallery for anyone to see. Unlisted builds can be viewed by anyone who has the link. Private builds are visible only to you.

    Only post content you have the right to post.

  6. Moderation

    Moderators are appointed by the admins. They may approve or reject submissions, hide reported builds, edit tier entries, and set tiers and floor tiers, at their discretion. We try to be fair and consistent, but we don't have to approve any submission or explain every decision. Moderator actions are logged.

  7. Reporting

    Signed-in users can report a public build once. Reports go to the moderators, who may hide the build from the gallery. Please report only genuine problems. For anything else, email hiimpd2@gmail.com.

  8. Voting

    A +1 must be your own honest opinion of a build. You can't +1 your own builds. Vote rings, trading votes or using more than one account to raise a count are not allowed. We may remove those votes and suspend the accounts involved.

  9. Clear submissions

    Clear times and boss kills must be real and match an unedited video. The video must be yours or used with the player's permission. Faked, edited or misleading clears are removed, and can lead to your account being suspended.

  10. Contacting other users

    If you add a Discord username, other signed-in users can see it so players can talk about builds and submissions. Use it for that. Harassment, threats, spam or abuse of other players, on the site or through contact details found here, is grounds for removing your content and your account.

  11. Acceptable use

    Don't:

    • submit fake or edited clears;
    • post spam, advertising or links to harmful sites;
    • use abusive, hateful or sexual build names, item names or notes;
    • scrape the API, send automated traffic or try to overload the site;
    • impersonate another player, a moderator or the site;
    • try to get around sign-in, roles, rate limits or other protections;
    • use the site to break the law.

  12. The site links to things we don't run, such as community tools, Google Sheets, YouTube and Twitch videos, the Project Diablo 2 wiki and GitHub. We aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

  13. Our content and open-source parts

    The site's own code, design, text, tier lists and guides belong to Hiim PD2, apart from user content and game assets. You may link to and share any page. Filter Forge and the Hiim loot filters are open source on GitHub and are covered by their own licenses, not by these terms.

  14. Termination

    You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account, or remove content, if it breaks these terms or harms the site or other players. We may also shut the site down. We will try to give notice when we reasonably can.

  15. Disclaimers

    The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Tier lists, calculators, guides and game data are community estimates. They may be wrong or out of date after a patch or season change. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free or that saved data will never be lost.

  16. Limitation of liability

    To the fullest extent the law allows, Hiim PD2 and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site. The site is free, so our total liability to you for any claim is limited to US $0, or the lowest amount the law allows.

  17. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

  18. Changes

    We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date and version at the top. For important changes, signed-in users will be asked to agree to the new version the next time they visit. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
